Carter McMillen

Yeah,NoBiggie is owned by Carter McMillen, and was started in 2024. I have been fishing since I was very young and have been fly fishing since I was about 13. I grew up in Commerce Township and used my fly rod to catch a variety of warm water species around my house and had a blast. It was the perfect way to hone my fly casting and prepare me for the challenges of river fly fishing. Throughout high school and college at Michigan State University, I would drive up north with friends and family to fish the AuSable or Betsie like many metro Detroiters do. My junior year summer while still at MSU, I got a job out in Jackson Hole, Wyoming as a fly fishing guide for Turpin Meadow Ranch. I guided 5 years there before returning back to Michigan where I now live and guide full time! On top of guiding, I also work at the Streamside Orvis fly shop in Traverse City!
